Crafts Museum
The Crafts Museum at Pragati Maidan in Delhi displays the extraordinarily rich handicrafts. The visitors, however, love the presence of the craftsmen and women with whom they can freely interact. The museum is divided into different galleries on the basis of themes. The first gallery on display is the Tribal and rural craft gallery and this is followed by the Gallery of Courtly Crafts, Textile Gallery, Gallery of Popular Culture, and similar other galleries.
Craftsmen display the method of making the crafts and this in itself is a great attraction. You can buy different objects like rugs, ornaments and even objects of rituals. At Delhi this is one of the must visit places.
